More Thoughts on Egypt

The news media is showing what's going on in Cairo.  Today there was rumor that Mubarak was going to step down.  He came on television to tell everyone he will not be directed by anyone.  He wants to stay in Egypt.  He will stay til September.
We know he's a dictator.  He's "our dictator", a friendly one to our country and to Israel.  Why would we want him to step down now after 30 years?
It's been said that the Muslim Brotherhood will be in power after Mubarak leaves.  Is that good for us and the world?  One of their goals is to have Islam all over the world.  It was said that the MB is organized, and not a threat to anyone.  If the MB takes hold, there would be many reasons to be fearful....christian religions are not accepted for one, nor are any other religions besides their own.  If freedom of religion doesn't worry you, then you have no fear if they take over.  Our country's founders were looking for a place to practice their own religion.  Since it's beginning, everyone is able to do that without fear.  That's only one thing we would lose if Islam spreads here and all over the world.   Think about it.
Just in case you didn't know there are 10 million Christians in Egypt who would stand to lose the right to and a place to worship.  The Muslim Brotherhood is not the peaceful organization that some say.  They were instrumental in killing Sadat!  Read their goals if you dare to find out more.

U.S. Response to Egypt

Read more about Israeli criticism of the U.S. response to Egypt --http://www.newsmaxworld.com/middle_east/Israel_US_Egypt_Protests/2011/02/03/374274.html

"I don't think the Americans understand yet the disaster they have pushed the Middle East into," said lawmaker Binyamin Ben-Eliezer, who until recently was a Cabinet minister and who is a longtime friend of Mubarak.

"If there are elections like the Americans want, I wouldn't be surprised if the Muslim Brotherhood didn't win a majority, it would win half of the seats in parliament," he told Army Radio. "It will be a new Middle East, extremist radical Islam."

Three decades ago, President Jimmy Carter urged another staunch American ally — the shah of Iran — to loosen his grip on power, only to see his autocratic regime replaced by the Islamic Republic. More recently, U.S.-supported elections have strengthened such groups as Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in the Palestinian territories and anti-American radicals in Iran.

"Jimmy Carter will go down in American history as 'the president who lost Iran,'" the analyst Aluf Benn wrote in the daily Haaretz this week. "Barack Obama will be remembered as the president who 'lost' Turkey, Lebanon and Egypt, and during whose tenure America's alliances in the Middle East crumbled," Benn wrote.

Israel has tremendous respect for Mubarak, who carefully honored his country's peace agreement with Israel after taking power nearly 30 years ago.

With Mubarak out of the way, the radical Islam Brotherhood  will make peace in the Middle East non-existent....and Israeli
safety will be compromised.  Is that what we want for our ally
Israel?  Are we losing our allies all around the world?  Who will defend us if our country is in jeapardy?  Our military alone?  Do we want Sharia Law to conquer the world?

Thoughts on Egypt

If you read and listen to the media, everyone is saying the same thing about Egypt.... there is no diversity of opinion.  Isn't that strange?  Yes it is.  You know the difference.  You aren't a moron.  We are watching a revolution, not an uprising, class warfare on a global scale.  Rioting in Egypt did not come from the poor, it came from the middle class, the educated, somewhat Westernized.  It's a class struggle.  The first vision of a mass revolution and it's occuring right before our eyes.

Mubarak -- friend or foe? It doesn't really matter what we think.  Mubarak is keeping the peace between the Arab world and Israel.   God forbid, radicals will take over no matter what happens, Israel will be in war.  Mubarak didn't get out of the way as the Obama dministration wanted him too.  The White House came out and said they're on the side of the middle class in Egypt.  Some think Obama favors the Muslim Brotherhood to take over.  That would be unacceptable.

The media has stepped a level lower.  They don't understand history.  Who's behind this revolution?  How did it happen so quickly?  Why now?  A few days after a judge said the healthcare bill is unconstitutional.  None of the media knows who orchestrated this.  They can only assume it's our government.  But who really knows?  The news media isn't answering those questions.

A Coptic Christian from Egypt shared some facts on a local radio talk show. If the Muslim Brotherhood gains influence in Egypt, the Coptic Christians will be persecuted and their faith attacked. That would make things worse.

Riots started by the youth, asking Mubarak to step down and start making correct changes. Election laws were written that made it impossible for anyone except Mubarak's son to take over. Foreign players are here at hand, two days ago in Liberty square, they are Hesbolah and Hamas.  A power vacuum will be created.  Why would Mubarak stay and not go away?  He could have left, retired in luxury. He's worth billions of dollars.  He chose to stay, sacrificing to stay in power, some Egyptians call him a man of honor, even if others consider him a tyrant.  There were paid people in the square.  The average Egyptian is now turning against the mobs who are there.  Who is on Mubarak's side?  The military backs him 100%.  They have been given an order not to fire on the population.  Once the military gives in, and Mubarak is removed, there will be chaos in Eqypt.

Our Vice President Jos Biden-- When asked if Mubarak was a dictator, Biden responded, "Mubarak has been an ally of ours in a number of things and he's been very responsible on, relative to geopolitical interests in the region, Middle East peace efforts, the actions Egypt has taken relative to normalizing the relationship with Israel ... I would not refer to him as a dictator."  read more

What will happen?  Some Egyptians have predicted that order will be restored, Mubarak will make the necessary changes, Egypt will move forward.  The U.S. will be unable to force Mubarak out of office, the Egyptian people will not allow them to.  We'll have to wait and see what transpires.

God bless America.  Pray for our country!  Listen to the Star Spangled Banner. Wear an American flag.
